Local charity, Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland are marking Leicester Giving Day on Saturday 19th November 2022 by asking members of the public to donate a “Hug in a Hamper” and drop it off at Fosse Park’s Food Central location between 10am-4pm. The hampers will be distributed to local vulnerable older people throughout the city and county and are designed to lift older people’s spirits during the coming winter months.
Age UK are looking for volunteers to fill a box with warm items that would benefit an older person.
