A Different Human Design are on a mission: to support neurodivergent individuals in a neurotypical world.

And further, change the world; reshaping an attitude to recognise both the prevalence and prowess of neurodiversity within the human race.

We offer free online content to promote understanding of labels like ADHD, dyslexia and autism by providing a fuller picture. One that includes the struggles as well as the incredible areas of strength. Plus, a place for inspiration, showcasing neurodivergent individuals doing amazing things and uniting a community of individuality.

This Leicester Giving Day, A Different Human Design invites you to immerse your senses with their nostalgic school and playground experience and gain an experiential insight into the neurodivergent perspective of learning and living.

This playful and interactive instalment, infused with strong metaphorical value, encourages new thinking and also presents the sobering reality which informs the platform’s vital presence.

Test your memory, coordination, concentration, play games, make, create, relate and more!

Meet the founders Lindzi and Steph and learn about our valuable services promoting neurodiversity in homes, schools and workplaces.

Take home resources and information from each of our exhibitions and challenges for your future use. We welcome you to rethink what you accept as normal.

Butterfly Beacons CiC are proud and excited to be part of the Leicester Giving Day to offer our gifts of Time, Treasure and Talent to the communities of Leicester and Leicestershire.

We will showcase our ‘creative circles’ opportunity, that bring together textile manufactures, retailers, education and community in a way that has never been actioned before.

Our holistic circles, for women and hubs of the family, promote compassion and creativity by inspiring connection, communication and creation through the inward focus of their unique gifts and lived experience.

Sew, craft, make, learn and explore ways to manage self-care. Turn textile waste into energy saving bespoke products, access training and enterprise programmes that will enable self-sufficient living styles and create change and transformation from the inside out.

We want to give you the tools to rise from the shadows of low self-esteem and poor mental health, express inner voices and lead your communities.

Sit at our round table this Leicester Giving Day, experience all we offer and help to embellish our first community “outfit!”

The Butterfly Beacons’ bus is the vehicle pushing this message and changing the way our communities see themselves and interact.

Creativity costs nothing, it’s ours and it can’t be taken away.

Celebrate Our Similarities, COS, is excited for the opportunity to introduce our mission and values this Leicester Giving Day.
Come along, meet the founder and volunteers and find out how to support our purpose. We want to put Leicester ‘on the map’ for our uniqueness, including our record-breaking, world-majority population and significant links to accountability for peace.
Did you know Leicester’s DMU holds the first United Nations International HUB Status for SDG16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions? It’s the only UK educational institution with a UN agreement to start major projects on SDGs.
COS has developed a fitting project plan since before 2014 that is more relevant now than ever before!

COS leads collaborations and delivers projects, research, events, webinars and workshops focussing on 2 themes: personal peace and climate.

We share good practice examples that can help health, wellbeing, and have a positive impact on the public purse, through building resilience and education that leads to better personal choices.

We are due to launch a ‘Leicester Charter’ for businesses and organisations to sign up to pledges supporting Peace and Climate.
Celebrate Our Similarities -COS focuses on humanity, wellbeing, shared cultural experiences and aims to bring back the “Leicester Brand.”

Kamla introduces the COS values and mission at 11.45-12.15 and again 2-2.30pm.
